Low speed high torque permanent magnet synchronous direct drive motor is a special type of permanent magnet synchronous motor. Its main feature is the ability to output a larger torque at lower speeds. This type of motor combines the efficiency of permanent magnet synchronous motors with the advantages of direct drive, and is specifically designed for applications that require high torque direct drive.Compared with ordinary motors, it does not require complex reduction mechanisms to amplify torque, thus simplifying the transmission system.
Its working principle is similar to that of ordinary permanent magnet synchronous motors, based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. After the stator winding is fed with three-phase AC power, a rotating magnetic field is generated, and the permanent magnets on the rotor follow the rotation under the action of the rotating magnetic field, achieving synchronous operation of the motor.However, in order to achieve low-speed high torque output, there are some special features in the motor design. For example, in the magnetic circuit design of motors, the shape, size, and arrangement of permanent magnets, as well as parameters such as the number of turns and wire diameter of stator windings, will be optimized. By increasing the number of poles of the motor, a larger torque can be obtained at lower speeds. Generally speaking, the more pole pairs there are, the lower the synchronous speed of the motor, and the greater the torque at the same power.
