AGV is the abbreviation of Automated Guided Vehicle, which means "Automated Guided Transportation Vehicle". It is a transportation vehicle equipped with electromagnetic or optical automatic guiding devices, which can travel along the prescribed guiding path with safety protection and various load shifting functions.

  • Technical characteristics

1)             all-electric

AGV adopts pure electric drive, and can adopt multiple motors to drive McNamee wheels to drive the vehicle. It adopts lithium-ion battery with high mileage (specific can be customized according to the actual needs of users), and can automatically return to the nest for charging.

2)             high load capacity

According to the user's needs, through the size of the wheelset, the number of collocation, customized design, can achieve 0.5-80 tons load transport. It can be used in many different fields to follow up the user's needs.

3)             intelligent drone

Adopting multi-sensor and intelligent unmanned technology, the unmanned operation of AGV can be realized:

²  Remote Control: Remote control operation of AGV by remote control (wireless or wired).

²  Follow the trail:

n  Mode 1: The driving route is drawn through the terminal design, and the AGV drives according to the customized route.

n  Mode 2: The AGV automatically records the pre-trajectory and can drive according to the recorded trajectory.

²  FOLLOWING: Vehicle following a person or vehicle is realized by UWB.

²  Automatic nest return: realize automatic one-touch nest return charging function.

²  Adopting 2D navigation technology, it can realize automatic alignment function with error 0.5mm.

4)             Omnidirectional movement

Based on a special structure of McNamee wheel and speed vector synthesis technology, through the accurate control of the speed and rotation of different wheel sets, without steering mechanism can realize the platform into and out of the traverse, diagonal, in situ rotation and other arbitrary continuous trajectory walking, with all-round moving characteristics. It has obvious superiority compared with traditional transfer equipment:

²  When working in narrower and more congested places, it is possible to have zero turning radius, flexibility and freedom of movement;

²  On occasions where equipment docking is required, it can move omnidirectionally and complete docking quickly, greatly improving docking efficiency;

²  The omni-directional movement can also be utilized to make fine adjustments to your position when precise positioning and high-precision trajectory tracking are required.

6)             High-precision positioning control

Adopt RTK BeiDou differential positioning, two-dimensional code navigation and other precise positioning navigation technology to realize high-precision positioning and control. All the environment sensing data are collected through communication network, fused and processed by NCU, and form decision-making instructions, and the decision-making instructions are issued by VCU in a unified way, and executed by each component, and their status is returned to VCU and NCU to provide the basis for decision-making and execution of instruction issuance.

McNamee wheels are driven by high-precision servo motors, and through centralized group control, the rotation speed and direction of each group of motors are controlled to realize the movement of the AGV transport platform in different directions, and achieve positioning accuracy of ≤±5mm.
